# Welcome to Keyfax V5

Keyfax V5 is the web-based release of Keyfax. It runs the same diagnostic scripts you know, in a browser, across every channel your customers use: the web, messaging apps and the telephone.

These help pages cover the Administration Tool, the scripts and data behind a conversation, and the channels a conversation can arrive on.

**What you can turn on**

Keyfax V5 is licensed in areas, and the Administration Tool shows only the areas your organisation has:

* Keyfax Core, the scripting platform everything else builds on. Always on.
* Chat Bot, for written conversations on the web and in messaging apps.
* Telephony, for spoken conversations, which needs Chat Bot.

If a page in these docs describes something you cannot see, that area is probably not enabled for your organisation.
