# Settings

The system settings, grouped by what they affect.

## Two kinds of setting

**Ones your own administrators change.** How the tool behaves for your organisation.

**Ones only Omfax can change.** Anything that affects how the platform itself runs, or that is shared across customers. These are visible so you can see what they are set to, and changing one is a request rather than an edit.

If a setting you expected to find is not here, it is usually because it belongs to an area your organisation has not licensed.
