# Result summary (self-service)

The result summary as a customer sees it in a portal or in web chat, rather than as an advisor sees it.

It is deliberately narrower than the staff summary. The advanced features an advisor relies on — adding another item, task mail-merge — stay internal and never appear here.

Word it for someone with no training and no context. An advisor knows what an SOR code is; a tenant reading a confirmation does not.
